The name of blue topaz is associated with the Sanskrit word “tapas” meaning heat, fire and passion. The Egyptians used it as a divine stone of protection, believing it was blessed by the sun god Ra's golden arms. Moreover, topaz is said to promote its wearer's creativity, wisdom, and openness as well as enhance awareness and visualization.
Physically, topaz is believed to be very helpful for curing insomnia, depression, exhaustion, stress, and stomachache caused by anxiety. It is also said to assist the endocrine system, tissue generation, and the treatment of hemorrhages.
